About Mindfree Production
Mindfree is an independent music label with humble beginnings in San Diego, CA since 2005. Our focus has been on two of the four major elements of Hip Hop, in particular the DJ and the MC.
Mindfree has been keeping the art alive by putting out music on vinyl. The first release showcased the turntablist while the second celebrated both the DJ and MC with many more to come. We honor the traditions of our roots, but still embrace the present and look towards the future with the ever so fast growing technology.
Mindfree Radio is an Internet broadcast station consisting of several genres ranging from Reggae to Underground Hip Hop to Electronica. A lot of good music never gets heard because the airwaves for the most part are playing songs because somebody paid them to versus its actual worth.
